Dithering about coming or not...

190 miles to ride, one way, and I would have only ridden for a couple weeks, not sure if I can even hack that kind of distance on a bike yet! Confidence a bit shaky after the off.

And I'm all alone

I'm sure you are all nice enough, but I dont even have any camping kit (skint as a dog after repairing my off) and cant really afford hotel (hmmm...business credit card maybe...)

I would love to see the scenary though.

Hongman, you're not alone, your region is organising a group ride up to the AR.

Plenty of people maybe with spare space in their tent

Ok so ride up sorted, I hope.

If any blonde or brunette happens to like sharing tents with a complete stranger and likes to keep their flaps open at night, please let me know!

(I mean tent flaps, on a hot night of course...)

Oh right, forgot to mention the FEMALE part!

Waiting for the missus to get back and run it past her...camping, not the tent sharing bit shh

Also texted my buddy, if he agrees to come its a done deal. Knowing him he probably has a load of camping gear anyway (one of those people that has everything, even if they never use it)

If not, then I just need to sort some accomodation. On a serious note, I'll have to sort some kind of tent out. I'm not a snob or anything, just like my own space

I havent been camping in ages (15+ years)!!

Well that took long.

Provisional YES from me. Only things stopping me is any unavoidable work duties (I will obviously try as hard as possible to not let anything into those days)

I also need to get my SV looked at to make sure everything is in order for that kind of mileage, no cash to fit new/spares. Mainly my tyres and chain I'm a bit worried about.

Worse comes to worse I'll take my son's Bob The Builder tent, if you laugh I'll keel you!!

Laugh at you...a Bob the Builder tent would make you the envy of most of the blokes and earn you leg-endary status
