Re: The 10 year rule
It's not time period and subject specific. I reckon you could master picking your nose in a day, and it may take longer than 10 years to master the hidden art of telekinesis. The point is if you get off your **** you can be amazing at something.
Ahh well. It's an inspirational thought to me anyway, but admittedly it's far easier to dismiss it and carry on being crap to average at everything you do. There's nothing like dying with that feeling of regret that you never reached your potential. :P @Tigersaw - Bin it all!!!

Re: The 10 year rule
You may discover you have more talents than you knew.
You can develop those talents, but you can't learn talent. No amount of practice will make you a Rembrandt or a Mozzart without talent. Having had the opportunity to ride on the track with the likes of Freddie Spencer, Kevin Schwantz and others I can tell you, no amount of money or track time will put you in the cass with these riders. These guys are awesome!!! And there are certain things certain people will never be able to do, no matter how hard they try. Why? because they simply don't have the talent for it. Quote:
Years? I think it should be 2 weeks, tops.
