EBC HH brake pads
Are these a marked improvement over the original Suzuki pads? Thinking of getting a set, just for the front as the rear seems quite strong still but the front feels crap

Re: EBC HH brake pads
If you are looking for better feel on the front then a set of braided hoses is a good investment. Of course the pads and hoses are a better move. But on a budget if your pads are ok then hoses are the next step.
I have not used the EBC pads but I do hear good things of them. |

Re: EBC HH brake pads
I don't have EBC HH on my front calipers, but I do have Dunlopad HH.
They're a definate improvement over the OEM pads if you're looking for more stopping power (I changed mine within the first week of buying my K7). In fact, having ridden sports bikes for the past 12 years that featured either 4- or 6-piston front calipers (versus the SV-650 2-piston, slide pin jobbies), I feel that this change is more important than braided front lines - the stock pads just feel too conservative and not aggressive enough. While you're changing pads, grease the sliding parts of the slide pin calipers and change the brake fluid. |

Re: EBC HH brake pads
Yes, these are the pads that I use. Better feel and better grip. Much better. Mixed with braided lines, very much better than stock.

Re: EBC HH brake pads
I used them on the SV calipers and was always pleased. I planned to try Carbon Lorraine next, and I've been very pleased with them in the various GSXR calipers, but I never tried them in the SV.

Re: EBC HH brake pads
I'm using SBS dual carbon which aren't great for the road because they need to be at least warm, btu they're pretty impressive on the track, the mroe you use them the better they get!
