Default diablos or 014's?

i'm after a sports tyre, and have (finally!) got my decision down to these two. mileage isn't a big issue, only looking for 3k or so from a rear. i can get either for very similar prices but i just can't decide! help

Not that it's much help, I swear by 014's - Had them on the GSXR and on the 'Blade. However, my mate also with a 'Blade reckons the Doable Coors is better, not as predictable but a bit stickier...

i think i'd rather sacrifice a little outright grip for predictability, i'd find that more confidence inspiring.

Well the 014's are definately confidence inspiring... They were fab on my Gixer, and when I got the 'Blade I made short work of the rear (one Friday night at the Ace ) so I could fit 014's before I took it to Europe.

Diablo's are the same as Metz' Z6's... Z6's are awesome on the SV, so I'd go Diablo's personally

I ran Diablo's (not Diablo Corsas) on my GSXR 600 for a year or so and did many track days - all the instuctors reckon you couldn't go wrong with Diablos. I'd also take a look at Pilot Powers just because every magazine raves about them but the Diablo of BT014 should do you proud

I think you guys are confusing the Diablo Strada, a sport touring tyre based on the Metzeler Z6, with the Diablo, which is a sports tyre. They are by the same brand with similar names but they are different tyres.
