My gripe is being ill at Christmas, both daughters, step son and myself all come down with colds in the past few days

I always get sick at Christmas, either before, during or after.

This year, it's before and over the worst, but I know how you're feeling.

I'm sure it's because we unwind, de-stress and the bodies defences drop or we're all so knackered in the run up that we get sick.

I was told Christmas lunch was being served at 12.30, so arrived at the MILs in good time. I'm still waiting to eat!

Last year dinner was 2 min 57 seconds late. I'm trying harder this year.

Yodel. I know this does not need any expansion but how difficult is it to see the "2 of 2" written beside the address label and look through the van for the other box? The driver left half of my delivery on the doorstep in the pouring rain, rang the bell and ran back to his van. By the time I had opened the door he was screaming off down the road and the box was getting soaked. 20 minutes later I finally get hold of a human only to be told the other one went to "the wrong depot". Rubbish. The temporary driver had too many drops on board and will get to the end of his run and wonder why he's got boxes left in the back...

I had a Hermes throw a camera over a 10ft wall and had the cheek to leave a card saying "left in a secure area". Luckily the camera was well wrapped but the package had been in the wet since lunchtime and I got home at six.

MotD...Customers that walk into our shop 10 minutes before closing time and then want to spend 30 minutes or more faffing about choosing which camera to buy. We had two of these in yesterday and one of them wanted to set up a credit payment too.
