Thinking about getting some knee sliders
There are these dirty great big velcro patches on the new jeans I picked up at the BMF. Now I don't need knee sliders by any stretch of the imagination but since I now have the option... it's tempting. Of course trying getting some would then open up a whole new can of worms in that you don't want nice shiney sliders either do you? Decisions decisions.

Re: Thinking about getting some knee sliders
I'm proud of my shiney, unscuffed knee sliders - I can gat round corners well anough without having to clamber all over my bike like a deranged little monkey.
They are also quite good knee protection if you (heaven forbid) come a cropper or happen to be cut up by a car that went so close it took out it's wing mirror on your slider - much better than hitting your knee. |

Re: Thinking about getting some knee sliders
Secretly (well not so now) I would like to be able to get my knee down...
It seems to be the Northampton & Nearby Massive on this morning. (Not checked where that thread is at recently). |

Re: Thinking about getting some knee sliders
I may soon have a scrubbed set available, depending on how I get on with leather ones at my next track day.

Re: Thinking about getting some knee sliders
They're also useful when you want to kneel down on the ground in your leathers, lol (as I have found out!).
