Well I'm bike only during the summer.
Now that the weather is cr@p & it's getting colder I'm looking at at buying a car again. But yours is out of my price range for a bad weather run around. |

Care with a banker's draft if you are accepting it from someone that you do not know - most banks will not allow you to draw aginst them until they have 'cleared'. Banker's drafts normally guarantee that the funds are available, however they can be 'stopped' where they have been issued fraudulently or lost/stolen. Therefore, they will still be subject to 'technical checks' once they have been paid in to check that they are not fraudulent. I have heard of whole batches of blank banker's drafts being stolen in the past HTH

Make sure that the draft is actually PAID and not just 'cleared'.
An item could be returned after it has been 'cleared' (mainly due to the fact that 1st class Royal Mail is used to notify banks when cheques bounce ) however if your bank tell you that an item you have paid in to your account has been PAID then it cannot be returned. Sorry if this is confusing, however the clearing process is not that straight forward and I have seen a lot of customers (and banks!) lose goods / money due to being given duff info.
