Yes. He ran out at pace between a stationary bus looking the other way for traffic and just ploughed into me - the timing couldn't of been any better.

Oh. Was going to invest in bungs but if that happens then there's no point.

Thanks for the update.

He was a runner, and he was fine. It was his momentum that took me down but he got up in a flash apologised profusely and ran off - leaving me on the floor and bike on top of my leg

It was another biker behind me and bus driver that helped lift the bike up off my leg.

Pity it wasn't something bigger that they ran into, I have seen people just walking along footpath suddenly turn onto a zebra crossing and walk into road without checking traffic, I know you are supposed to give way but they have a responsibility to check before scooting onto crossing and causing traffic to emergency brake. Also I have twice had tweenagers on phone walk out in front of me on exiting road islands (no crossing there, just wandered into road) - good job road wasn't wet.

I am shocked the runner didn't even offer to help you pick bike up though.

I know, and I'm sure he has a due care and attention to make sure I'm alright?
Maybe he thought I was going to get up and 'lamp' him one for causing the accident. so got offside sharpish.

In that case, you were clearly going too slow.
