On other matters, my smile.
Pulled what looked like the ground of stub of a nail out of my rear tyre this morning. And thankfully it hadn't gone all the way through. Happy Days. And it's Friday. Happy Friday peeps.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Not really sure if this should be in the 'smile' section' or we should have a new 'omg' section but I've just seen a covid mask (just been comissioned by an Israeli jeweller) fetch $1.5 million!! I suppose it did make me laugh ...a bit.
I suppose when you think about it, the Ralph Lauren mask is a snip at just £450. Hahahaaaa. What on earth is this world coming to. Last edited by gadget; 09-10-20 at 09:35 AM. |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Been using a couple of the 'scarecrow' PIR cat sprayers for many years to keep the local moggies away, pity you have to stop using them in winter due to freezing. We had a pond years ago and cats used to come and fish in it - so i set the scarecrow up by pond, but pigeons also used to use the pond for drinking - I was looking out of kitchen window one day as a pigeon ( flying rat ) flew off the fence towards pool, he triggered the PIR in mid flight and high velocity water headed his way - pigeon did a backflip and landed back on fence shaking the water off - priceless. One of the good things about water squirter is that you can hear the water flowing in house pipes when it it triggered, one thing you do notice is that a few days after you deploy it the number of time it is triggered drops a lot - but it is best to move it around regularly as cats are tricky creatures.
