Re: AR09 anyone going?
I've been thinking of planning a route to the AR from the Manchester area avoiding the motorways as much as possible, for anyone to join along...
The possible route I've been thinking won't be too far from you... could possibly organise a 'MIGTS' meeting point along the route if others wanted to go down together?

Re: AR09 anyone going?
I'll be going if nothing untoward crops up. It would be great if the Midland contingent could ride down together.

Re: AR09 anyone going?
Steve: sounds like a similar route to what I was thinking about - across to the A1 and head south, with a slight detour to keep me as far away from the M25 as possible.

Re: AR09 anyone going?
surely as you get on the m25, your back off it again pretty quick if you go down the A1?

Re: AR09 anyone going?
A130 - A12 - A414 section looks like it cuts nearly 20 miles off, and would probably wake things up after a long motorway stint.
