Yep, this is for the Saturday as I don't know what time everyone is likely to be there on the Friday. We could maybe do a takeaway run, or buy supplies and cook something on the premises, or take a chance and head into Barmouth to see what's available on spec.

Just a heads up guys seen quite a few posts on social media groups the past couple of weeks about groups getting stopped in North Wales by police and being given warnings about prosecution for not having the baffle fitted in their exhausts so thought I should share.

Good call Andy. Worth bearing in mind that it will be a summer weekend in a popular area and we are likely to see the police out and about generally. Some of the roads we're going to ride are very rarely patrolled but some definitely will, so small number plates and loud exhaust may well earn folks a pull. Just so as everyone is aware.

I can't stand the baffle being out of my exhaust Road legal and declared on insurance too

I didn't mind mine being out until I did the IAM lessons, where they have me using much higher revs all the time. I don't actually have a baffle for mine as it wasn't there when I bought the bike. It's more of a low rumble unless I get up to 7000rpm+ though. Loud V-Twins sound very different to the screaming IL4 exhausts you hear in the distance every summer evening.
