I too will be working during the day on Friday.

I'd be ready to leave town at about 7pm I reckon, as I'll need to go home first. If this is too late for others then I understand and I can make my own way.

I am near the M25 at that time, there is no way I am going into or can get into town for 6pm.

As it's straight down the M3, possibly choosing the A30 towards the end for some variety. I don't see the point of going to the Ace. But could certainly meet more people by the M25?

You got the question the wrong way around. It should be how much hand luggage you can get on your bike. Load the up the bike, ride to northern spain, overnight ferry to portsmouth(I belive) and then ride to the AR on friday. A truly epic journey that would go into legend. Do it, you know you want to!

That thought has crossed my mind a while ago, unfortunately it's way too expensive for me to do right now but it's one to keep on the to-do list though (probably riding all the way through France instead of doing the ferry thingy). Furthermore, I have other plans now
