Puma 1000 Boots

Not seen anyone mention these anywhere, so I thought I would!

Tried a pair on in a Hein Gericke store over the weekend. They are stunning boots, look great and are beautifully made. Only thing is they are made for people with freaky thin feet Either that or I have freaky wide feet

They are so rigidly armoured at the heel that if you have even a hint of a wide foot you aint going to come close to getting past that heel armour.

I was a bit gutted as I fancied a pair even though they're the best part of £250



I did have my left foot in one (obviously my right has been genetically modified to be annoyingly wider) and can testify that they are supremely comfy. Grrrr....

I don't know about the sizing issue but man! those are great looking pair of boots.

P.S My feet are not wide but my wallet is thin

After years of service from Frank Thomas water proof boots, I fancied a change as my style of riding has changed from commuting to fun only. So summer boots were on the cards.
I tried these and they were bloody awful. Very slim fitting and the puma strips are very cheap silver looking. (Think cheap chava colours).

Wor lass also tried some on and found them to be thin fitting as well.

It’s a shame really as puma could have offered something with a little style rather than the usual robot warrior look.
