ooh, I'm interested

I'll have to see I can get permission for this 'advanced riding course' with the doris, and see if I can wangle it off work.

Novice would probably be best for me. Do you know if they provide minor tuition/advice like some other track day organisers do?

I'm afraid not Dave. It's part of the Motorsport Vision circuits that don't like non restricted folk.

If you get yourself and ACU license in time then you'll be allowed on.

Gutted, sorry if you can't make this.

Hey up Rusty. They do offer free tuition yes. You have to speak to one of the fellas before hand though and arrange a session for them to take you out or follow you round. It's really good and you can pick and choose what you concentrate on. I learnt a lot off the last bloke that took me round Rockingham. Thumbs up to No Limits really.

How do you get an ACU license, is that a racing license?

Yeah. Costs about fifty quid i think and you have to pass a small theory course before hand. I may be wrong though. There could be more involved. I'm sure many on here will know...

UPDATE: I have just phoned Cadwell Park to enquire about camping the night before or after. They say it is quite alright and sometimes a few people often do it. Fee is £5 sterling per head and no pitch fee for the tent. There are also showers and water available at the circuit too...

Sounds like i shall be going up on the Monday and getting a nice pitch.

Might even pop up earlier and watch some of the racing, as there is a bike track day on the 21st aswell.

Anyone else likely to camp if you come along???

Ditto. Doubt the ACU license would be worth it for me as I only intend to do one (for now)
