I don't know about bikes, but I stayed on a campsite near Harlech, it was right up in the hills, magnificent views, and really quiet.

We just turned up and pitched.

Again not sure if it's biker friendly but I love Shell Island, good sea views and views back to the mountains

Thanks chaps, have sent e-mails to see if any accept well behaved bikers.

See what happens, may need options if these don't accept.

There used to be a good one in Llangollen but he sold the land for some eco huts. The only other one in Llangollen I can think of is the Abbey and that place is minging.

Theres a great big campsite at Bala which is brilliant though
