Question Shark s900 helmet

Does anyone have one of these?

The missus does and we have had to send it off for repair as it lets water in the top of the visor and insects from underneath it. The main problem seems to be the visor does not seem to snap shut.

Anyone else had this issue?

Yes, and I can confirm its not the best helmet considering the cost I paid a year ago. It is lighter and looks great but practically and functionally fails.

They tried to provide oil with the helmet as a means of "maintaining the rubber seal" by keeping it lubricated to avoid drying out. When in fact I think this emphasises a design defect in the visor.

My visor does snap shut but clearly doesn't seal. So inevitably lets a lot of water in, mists up pretty badly in winter and generates an awful lot of wind noise.

If you're talking about it actually not shutting then this is not something I have experienced.

Runako your right its more the not sealing than not shutting!

We bought though J&S and they are sending it back to let Shark review it. Will keep this thread updated.

No. The shop just took it back. Didn't suggest anything.
