Evening old Sport.

That's about right I'm afraid. The Honda ones from mid nineties CBR 600's etc fit, but I think they're even more expensive.

There are 'pattern' shims available to the trade from Wurth, these are lighter than standard, & don't appear to be as well ground. Some dealers stock them, but as you're not doing the job often bite the bullet & cough up for new genuine ones.

You should think yourself lucky! I've spent literally thousands on shims over the years, due to there being so many different types. & you don't have to put up with dirty looks from customers who are unlucky enough to need up to 20 (19 was my record) shims, at £3 exchange.

Cheers.

If that £4.22 is for buying a shim, not exchanging, presumably there'll be a few folks on here spannering their bikes themselves like you who have various size kicking around the garage or in the toolbox. Maybe they'd do swapsies?

If you can tell me the sizes you need, I might have spares of those... I've picked up a few recently.

I'll be away til monday night but drop me a PM and I'll sort it when I get back. I might not have the right size, mind, these are just what's left over from an assortment of engines and swaps so they're not a full range.

I would say that at £3 these are the somewhat inferior shims I mentioned.
I wouldn't use them.

Cheers.
