Looks identical to mine, right down to the cheap plastic case. It's a typical (probably made in China) mass produced with lots of different badges jobbie. Haven't broken a bit yet but I'll bear your experiences in mind and take more care next time.

Not sure if this is a strictly bike tinkering conversation? I've been putting new inner tie rods on my Clio 182, what a horrible pokey job! I'd rather work on a bike in a nice dry garage than a car on axle stands in the wet!

Changed the front brake pads on the Focus. Done bit and bobs on the bikes for years but never worked on a car before. Felt good!! (and saved a few £££)

It does doesn't it? Over the last couple of months I have done disc and pads, pair of control arms and link rods on the Civic

Today I have mostly been doing a crap job of fibreglassing the 675 fairings on my SV, note to all, do not use micron pipework as it hangs lower and so job needs to be done to make it work, ffs. The way I fitted the fairing means that the front cylinder pipe routes about 5cm lower than the bottom of the fairing. It looks like a proper botch job.

Ive also made a brilliant (as in good enough) job of spraying panels black.

Changed rear brake pads on ZX, oiled throttle cables.

ps. I hate fiberglassing

MOT is due before the end of the month so checked everything over today. Also took the front calipers off , cleaned the pistons and pads up and made sure the disc bobbins were all moving freely. I wanted to take the suspension linkage out and check that too but couldn't shift the bolt that attaches the dogbones.

All done while trying to dodge the hail and snow showers. Wish I had a garage ....

Last two Sunday's of work...

Last Sunday I did my long overdue rear pads, safe to say I got my moneys worth!

And then yesterday I finally got the Loobman auto chain oiler on, first I degreased the chain with Parraffin and cleaned the whole bike. I found the only real place to mount the tank was behind the left passenger footpeg, using engine oil with a pull out spout it is easily re-fillable. The instructions for this thing make it look daunting but once I had done it, it all made sense.

In the next couple of weeks I'll be servicing her and then she needs new tyres too!
