Re: Where to go????
I'll be out and about, probably get a bacon and sausage bap and a coffee from Rhug Estate (Google Map) early morning before a quick blast and then head over to the Ponderosa for midday.

Re: Where to go????
Just back myself, nice to meet you all. Once we left me and James headed down to Bala on the A494. Then up the B4501 via a tiny bit of the A4212, down the A543, along the A5 to Betws-y-Coed for fuel (my knowledge of the area is rubbish, had no idea where the nearest fuel station was so went for the safe option).
Fueled up and back along the A5 to do the A543 and A4212 in reverse and off onto the B5105 to Ruthin. Got to Ruthin and gave Mike (Luckypants) a call, and went to see him. DaveP, Neeja and Speedy Claire were all there and we'd just missed lunch! Had a brew and talked for a bit while they finished working on the bikes, then I headed back home as got a few things to do. The rest of them went for a ride out somewhere. All in all a nice fairly spirited run out, just what I needed! |

Re: Where to go????
Excellent ride thanks guys and nice to meet you all, strange events of the day, mmm, lets see:
- Wind nearly wipes out jamessunhill - Dog nearly mauls cyclist and then 5hort5 (whilst both were riding) - 5hort5 nearly KO's slark01 with flying zippo FOD (free zippo somewhere now on the road near the Ponderosa ) and I'm guessing - christoper can't hear for **** after being behind James's exhaust for more than 5 seconds Great day, I got back home and swapped the tanks over and it runs again which is nice, I still had about three litres of fuel in the tank and it had covered 130 miles. Thanks for the coffee and sausage barm James - Top man I'll stick the pics in the photo's forum in a sec |
