Default Just checking....

The bikes SORN'd.

It has no Tax, It has no MOT, it IS insured.

I have it booked in for an MOT on Saturday morning.

Is there anything else I need to do to be able to ride it to the appointment? Do I need to get a letter or, in the event that I get stopped or ANPRd, am I ok just to tell them where I am going?

If you are going to a booked MOT appointment then you are ok to ride it, saying that my Dad always gets me to take his bikes for MOT, perhaps I have missed something?!?

Right, and just checking again...

Bikes been MOT'd this morning (Woohoo), taxed online using V5c. When i check 'is my vehicle taxed' it says that it might not show up for 5 days.... I'm fine with this as I have the MOT and screen-print of the tax order, but do the police records get updated any quicker....

Suppose my question is, if I go out on it today and get pulled... Is it going to be a hassle to have to prove it rather than wait for the disc to come through....

I always tax my bikes online from sorn. I also have the dvla send email confirmation as evidence of payment. It never shows immediately after you have taxed it online.

I taxed two of ours last weekend after sorn. Went out next day. If had been pulled, I had evidence on my mobile the vehicleswere taxed
