Re: storing a bike on an abba stand
It can be bad for the flux capacitor, and have you heard about bikes which are stored on their wheels developing flats pots? Well the opposite can happen if rear wheel is off the ground for too long - the tyre goes saggy & starts to droop.. Then when you ride along it slaps you in the face like a saddle bag being swung around by a maniac.

Re: Storing a bike on an abba stand?
or perfectly balance an old tv on the pillion seat so that both wheels are off the floor... may require some maltesers or spiders web to get the balance just right

Re: Storing a bike on an abba stand?
Good thinking paul, i was thinking of hiring a mall philipino child to sit on the rear of the bike to balance it. Do you think this woud be a better solution to the tv?
