I did wonder that, I just assumed it must be per session.....but then I read it was $50 if you had your own bike?
So not sure now....looks like fun anyway

Re: Why don't they have this in the UK!?
Hello! I found this thread after poking around the web, seeing who was chatting about M1-Grand Prix...and we found this thread.
First of all, thank you for your interest in our company. Now to answer some questions... Q #1. How much and for how long? A - Our basic package (EXP) @ 250 (U.S dollar) is for the whole day. Not just a 20 minute session. It's a great value, but unfortunately it's going to take some work and time before the locals "get it". A few around here do (like yourselves) know a good deal and they're coming back and planning private parties. It's a blast. And for a whole day of track time most guys get puckered out a little after lunch, but if you pace yourself and don't ride every session, you could ride the whole day. We run 3 groups - A (Advanced and people with their own bikes), B (Beginners - first timers on the NSR or at the track), C (Combo group for intermediate and advanced guys who want some extra track time). By mid-day, we usually get riders in the B group to the level where they can ride both B and C (with the approval of our control riders). Q #2. How much are flights out to Los Angeles? A - I know Tim in Belgium might have been joking, but I just checked British Airways from Heathrow to Los Angeles and you could book a flight for about 380 £, round trip. Combine that with any one of our packages and lodging 10 minutes from the track at 45 bucks a night and it's a killer deal. We are planning on inviting international guests to ride with us with special packages which will include lodging, catered lunches, ground transportation to the track and back. In fact, a group of young racers from Bermuda contacted us for just such an arrangement. See our home page for the announcement: http://m1-grandprix.com/ For more details on group rates, please visit: http://m1-grandprix.com/contact.html Here are some other links worth checking out... http://m1-grandprix.com/signup.html http://m1-grandprix.com/ http://m1-grandprix.com/news.html http://m1-grandprix.com/m1girls.html http://m1-grandprix.com/gallery.html ..and yes, we have M1GP girls at all our events. Kind regards, M1GP |

Sorry Blue,
To answer your question, M1GP is specifically for smaller cc bikes. However we have plenty of big bike schools and track days as well that can accommodate you. I'm sure you have track days and schools there as well, no? |

Also in the UK myself, so only for curiosity's sake, how long do you get on the track for that $200, how many 20 minute sessions? I looked and looked but to no avail, your website does not make it clear (enough for me to find it). Sounds like it might be a laugh though, I'd be well up for something like that here, it's like a step up from minimoto I suppose. Also, why, on the link at the top of this page, would it ask me to give a shirt size when purchasing the track day? |

Thank you for your question. I tried to post a reply answering all the questions (including one that would answer yours) but I got a note saying it has to get approved by the moderator. $250 dollars gets you the bike, track, first tank of fuel, water (to drink ), and control riders for the whole day. Our track days start at 8AM and end by 4:30PM with an hour lunch break. I don't want to annoy your moderator so I'll leave it at that and hope the post I made earlier will explain even more. Thanks, M1GP |
