Hey i want to save some cash on my service so i'm going to do it myself,
I know what to do for the following but is there anything else to check? Water level Put some fresh brake fluid in Check brake pads Check air filter Change oil and filter Check nuts and bolts Is that everything thats done in a service or am i missing something out? I had my valves checked just before xmas and getting my carbs check by the garage, there the bits i can't do. |

Re: Service my SV
I'm just about to service my SV myself for the first time too.
I got hold of a haynes manual and would say it's definitely worth having - tells you exactly what needs doing at each service interval & how to do it Sorry not much help with the specifics of your service though. If you want, give us the mileage / age and I'll tell you what the book says... Last edited by El Saxo; 19-02-08 at 09:17 PM. |
