You have probably all seen this before but I just needed to show some people!
![]() I have just upgraded my front brake calipers for the tokico GSXR calipers, also just put some goodridge hoses on at the same time. They are great! I believe I stop a bit quicker, but they deffinately have more feel to them. ![]() PICT01502.jpg I hope the photo works, I am a newbie afterall. |

Need the bracket to attach the callipers, i found one at http://www.twfracing.com/images/zpar...perBracket.jpg, i think the delivery was about $5, so about £45 for these.
Also needed the calipers which i bought on bid on ebay for £60 inc del. So without the braided hoses its about £105 but you could probably get some calipers for a wee bit cheaper if you look around. |

This is deffinately the way to go if budget is a problem. What to do the GSXR front end upgrade but just don't have the money so this seemed to be a great compromise.

i was under the impression it was the forks rather then the callipers that was the limiting factor with the sv's braking.

Bit of both, the forks don't help matters. But brute force of big calipers is one way around it I suppose!

lol Brute force is a bit harsh! I was thinking that i will do the front end upgrade thing bit by bit. Just got my new fork oil and springs to put in and then there is no stopping me (well maybe there is)!
![]() Hopefully the thicker fork oil and new springs will help the forks out a bit. When i get the money i will upgrade the front end to the full gsxr system. |
