Default Just dropped the bike.

Well- more pushed it over. Was cleaning the back wheel and it kind of shifted on the stand and fell over.

Not best pleased. RHS fairing is (more) damaged now and the clutch lever is snapped.

Just popped an order in on the Wemoto for a pattern part (just under £9- a relief, considering what rear brake lever costs...!).

A real pain- could do without the additional cost and getting the train to work over the next few days. I'm not best pleased.

Is allegedly in stock, so I'd assume that it'd be royal mail and with me on Tuesday, Weds at the most. Can anyone confirm this from previous Wemoto experiences?

Don't you just hate it when that happens. Bad news it happened, hope the rest of your day was better. Travelling on the train will have one bright moment though, it will make you enjoy your bike more when you get back on the road in a few days.

Enjoy your daily commute with the Proles, Comrade!

Yeah- lhs. RHS is farked anyway. Good job I hadn't replaced them recently. I hope nothing else is damaged- it went over pretty hard (I guess fortunately away from me- else I'd be sporting a broken something probably).

Woozle- yep.

Cheers Jayne- rest of day has been average. Gonna be a few days on the train probably. Including to Shepherds Bush tomorrow for band session. Cos I've got the money for it all right now (bike's about to cost me around £250- partly cos CCTs are on the way out- factored in with other work to be done too- valve clearances, unseizing mix screws). In fact, due to CCT issue, probably a good thing I'll not be riding it in the end (can't see it that way right now, of course).

I'm losing the plot tbh at the moment! And this perpetual ice age isn't helping- went out to get a few consolation cans of beer and nearly died of hypothermia in the wind

At least I've got a clean chain and back wheel.

Houston. We have a clutch lever.

Fair play to Wemoto- it arrived this morning.

Last day of trains and proles!!

Ricky- my tank's got two dents in it. One it came with and one as a result of kicking it (bike died about a mile away from flat- return journey is uphill. Grrr! I seem to be rather susceptible to the ole red mist).

Frankly, resale value on The Yellow Peril is challenged!
