I'm aiming for Crieff around 1pm for a new front tyre, then otherwise straight up. Any idea when you'd be passing Lochearnhead Marc?

Terah. I can't leave home until 1. Forward, may be going to crieff for tyres on friday as well but it would be 2 before we are there. If you want to come to mine before Crieff you are welcome or if you want to hang about we arrive in crieff thats fine as well. Alternatively Forward Could leave earlier and i could meet you in Crieff. However all of this is moot if when we check his tyres tomorrow he has enough rubber to get home or Strathern haven't managed to get a delivery in, which they hadn't confirmed today.

Default GM2015 - Getting there thread.

The only way I won't be getting tyres fitted is if Strathearn haven't managed to get them in time.

I'm going to France/Belgium/Holland August bank holiday, and I commute to work on the bike every week, so to delay would just be moving a problem into next week, by which time it'll be a bigger problem.

The guy on the phone today started by saying Michelin deliveries were a nightmare and I had to phone in advance to check they'd be there for Friday. When I explained why I needed them Friday, he said he was confident they'd be there Thursday! (He realised if there was any doubt I'd try elsewhere for Friday, or I'd be back in England before I got them done).

May be the odd drop tomorrow, if the forecast is right. Still company and beer will be good when we arrive.

GUYS THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE OF MEETING POINT FOR TOMORROW RUN UP TO THE GM!!!

WE WILL BE STARTING HERE!

Its only a mile or so along from J&S

Suddenly clicked that its a week day and the road may well still be a clearway at J&S and the garage has got cover, to protect me from getting sunburn.
