Garmin recorded 119 for my k1 naked(but for givi windscreen) Sunday before last coming back from tenby. It had more to give..

i have seen 150 on the clocks and my dad was beside me reading the same on his busa clocks.

i had it rolling roaded and was pushing 143, that was without the quick shift being used and the chain and sprockets were dead.

Sorry it just wont do it.....they have 70bhp and the manafacturer says they will do 125ish........I'm sure they did a fair bit of testing themselves to get that figure....anything else is speedo error.

My bike with 115-125BHP (with modifications... will be Dyno'd again soon) at the back wheel is good for 155-165MPH (officially) I dont think a SV could get anywhere near without MAJOR work!

Ive had 145mph indicated (Its only geared for 135MPH at the limiter in last) on the SV down a hill with the engine at 10K RPM in last, it had NOTHING left I was tucked in fully and all that... Real speed was 125-130MPH. Thats worked out using gearing.

I have had 168mph showning on the speedo of the 600rr.....is that near the speed I was really doing who knows.....and who really cares.

Its all PUB TALK

Fun IS NOT in a straight line.............
