Yep shame to miss it, but you can't be everywhere. Neio lad, that near miss sounds so like how I came off last year.... if your bars had caught the bank....

Yeah it probably was very similar. I think the combination of knee sliders and crash bung kept just enough buffering space to keep the bars and most of the bike away from the bank enough for me to stabilise her and keep the rubber on the tarmac.
