First ride of the year.
The sun was out so i thought it was time to dust off the helmet and go try out my new discs & pazzo's. I forgot how much of a thrill i get from riding i was only at the end of my street and i was bouncing around like a kid with a new toy. I've still got the grin roll on warmer weather though still abit nippy out.
As for the new Galfer's they make the brakes so much more responsive, so much more feel, and the pazzo's give that adjustability the OEM lacked. Really impressed and a happy bunny i managed to get out If you havent made the effort yet to get out shame on you, i forgot too how much the first ride of the year brings back the passion and reminds me why i ride!! ~Rich~

Re: First ride of the year!!!
Reduced riding, not stopped riding. I had the engine bouncing off the limiter yesterday. I was in 3rd gear. I daredn't look at the speedo but it wasn't slow Admittedly on the straight that was, but I managed the Atcham twisties at 60. Kwak, do you know where they are? - on the old A5 tween Telford and Shrewsbury - I'll be happy when I can do them at 70
Oh roll on some warm grippy tarmac. |

Re: First ride of the year!!!
2 years ago a week or two before Christmas my arthritis flared up in my right hand.
Could not ride for 2 & 1/2 months due to not being able to squeeze the clutch lever. What a feeling when finally able to ride and cruise down the road, it was like FREEDOM after being ruled by the timetables of the local buses and thier extortionate fares. |
