Default Upgrade Front Fork Springs?

Hey!

When I was with Spannerman (whom did a wonderful job btw) he recommended to get some nice new front springs.

Are they worth it? Plus who else has them?

Cheers

Me too I found my bike almost unrideable when I got it (ok slight exaggeration) , popped some of these in one morning and made a world of difference. However heard linear springs are better and a similar price you've gotta make sure you order the right weight though.

What would be the correct weight spring (ohlins) and correct fork oil to use for a 16 stone rider (fully kitted out)?

Also whats a some good fork oils to use?

I think I will get Spannerman to fit some nice new springs then when I get some new tyres at sametime.

wahwah
try this link http://www.racetech.com/page.aspx?id=53&menuid=61
i know theyre racetech not ohlins, but on this site you can calculate the spring weight needed for you, just as an idea like
just click on "see what race tech has for your bike" (right hand side above the first pic) choose your bike and fill in accordingly
hope this helps

Why you want ohlins?

Rate is what you need to worry about, not what sticker you going to put on fork.
