Default some things should never change

I'm not a Luddite, or at least I haven't thrown any clogs into the looms yet. I do understand that new technologies allow radical new design possibilities. I also understand that people have been sitting on things for a very long time.

Having said all that as a preamble, why would anyone think it a good idea to sit on a traffic cone, even if it is a horizontal one

As to the rest of the bike, very "Tron" like (do people still remember Tron?) and definitely futuristic or maybe Futurama?

I'm all for trying to improve the air quality and progress towards more climate friendly options but that thing looks ridiculous.
The video link to the Energetica Eva review, halfway down the page is another story. That bike actually looks and sounds pretty cool. Maybe £10,000 off the price and it's more within my range!
