Last chance to tax at 2023 rates
Today is the last chance to tax a vehicle to run from April 1st but still at 2023 rates, before the rate rise tomorrow. You get just a couple of days to do it in advance if a vehicle is on SORN.
Make sure you select April 1st as the start date, not March 1st. If you are renewing a current tax (VED) then you can do it up to a couple of weeks in advance, a SORNed vehicle is just a couple of days. I've just done 4 bikes and a car after the winter lay-up, saved best part of £50 compared to doing it tomorrow.
