SV650N 2003 K5 - Color Code? - SV650.org

I'm looking for the colorcode of my 2003 SV650N (K5)

Looked in the manual, no sticker with the code. Same story when i lifted up the fuel tank, no sticker there with a colorcode on it.

When i go to www.colorrite.com and search for my bike, there's no black color code under 2003.

So, where to look for this code? I know it's black with a blue-ish pearl in it and probably YAY or 33J, but i would like to have the exact color.

Must be some kind of time travelling bike. K5's didn't exist in 2003

K3 = 2003
K4 = 2004
K5 = 2005
etc

What colour is the frame? If it's silver and the bodywork is black, it's probably a K4

Hehe, the manual says K5, so i guess that's not the original then. Checked the license plate, bike was imported to The Netherlands in 2003, so i guess that's the year that it was build. Silver frame, black bodywork. Picture:

Yep it's not a curvy so it's a k3

K3's didn't come in black so the bodywork has been changed or resprayed

Hmm. Could be a change of bodywork, because the paint job looks pretty original.

Are there other ways to find the matching color code? Maybe a part number that's located on the fairings or the fuel tank?

Try and contact the previous owner just incase they know or try a paint place that does a colour scan to match paint? If its a custom colour then only the person who had it done and painter would know. HTH
