Default Pointy water pump drive?

Hi all,

Does anyone know of any problems with the plastic water pump drive on the '05 models? I'm getting the bike ready for the manx and just wondering if any are prone to damage. For the sake of £40 for a new one I'll be taking a spare with me even if they are usually ok.

Cheers, Jay.

No more likely to fail than any other motorcycle I know of. In fact I've never seen one fail exactly, leak occasionally yes, but not break.
