Default I've just ordered..

1no 46 PRCL Ohlins rear shock

and

1 set of Ohlins Fork springs

Now that I have to recover from lack of money (£530), and I have come round I have the obligatory quest:

What grade oil would you use? 10, 12, or 15?

When you ordered it, did they ask for your weight? If not, you'll get the Ohlins with the stock spring, which is 85N or 90N (I forget which) and a bit soft for 13 and a half stone IMO...

Yep, they asked and I told. But I hope to be down a few lbs by the time I fit it. Main thoughts are on the front, and the oil I go for......
Thinking the the standard 10 should be okay, but....

Yeah, I know. Tackle tart territory I know, but it's got to be worth it - Hasn't it?

Hopefully, I'm doing my IAM and I just can't quite settle down along country corners - I'm fine in town, on A roads and dual carridgeway. It feels like I'm participating in a game of Buckaroo!!!

Good stuff... I'm just shy of 11 stone in gear and I like 15W with the Ohlins springs. It was just a touch on the heavy side but not drastically- it was only ever too heavy in extremely cold weather. If I'd kept that setup I'd probabyl run 12.5 in winter and 15W in summer.

Where did you get the shock from, out of curiousity? You're going to love it, by the way, not quite the best mod I ever did but very close.
