TT600 lowering links?
I am thinking about lowering my bike using these http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/moto...ent_prod/46214
Is it a simple case of swapping them and off I go or is it more complicated, will I be looking at adjusting the forks, new side stand or more? Thanks, Kj x |

Re: Lowering question
just make sure youve got about 10 pairs of hands , na only joking i fitted some on my speed four ,same bike without the plastics i had 2 mates holding the back end up while i was under the bike changing the lowering links ,ive left the front of my bike the same height "standar height" the only different ive noticed is that the steering is not as twitchy ,and lowering it has made me more confidence when coming to junctions and stoping

Re: TT600 lowering links?
Just remember that altering one end without doing the other will change the geometry of the bike, altering the handling.
As I understand it, lowering the rear will make turning in slower.

Re: TT600 lowering links?
it also disrupts the fantastic neutral handling of the tt/s4, which to me is one of the best features, you could probably drop the forks through a bit to even it out, but it'd require a bit of playing with to get it right.
Cheers Mark.

Re: TT600 lowering links?
Interesting replies, thanks. Good link Cymroboi. Im away with the kids next week but if I have the money left when I get back I think ill give it a go lowering the rear and riding that way before deciding whether to adjust the front or not. Having to mess with the sidestand would have put me off but it doesnt sound like I need to
