Default RST Leathers

Any good? fancy some leathers now instead of the gore-tex weather proof stuff.

They seem reasonably priced; looking specifically at this:

i have jacket and trousers by RST. i think they're a pretty good entry level bit of kit. there's better out there but there's also a heck of a lot worse.

had mine 4 years, had to get them repaired when zip which attaches trousers to jacket came unstitched but was done under guarantee with no quibbles.

You're aware that £169 is just for the jacket, oui?
There's a thread on a discount I wangled somewhere.

Gene Genie? what's that? Yeh I know the £169 is for jacket only.

Isn't that a bit contradictory!? The stitching comes undone but they're good leathers?!

Which ones are the best for that sort of money?

talking about me again.
i,ve seen the kit in question priced in the shops at £330, i got it at a fair price. not worn it yet cos its my sunday best.
i do wear a 2-piece rst suit that has served me well (all year round, everyday). 2 yr old and still going. the stitching has only come away a little where you zip them together , and thats because i walk around with the jacket hanging off me and putting undue strain on the zips.
not the best kit in the shop by no means, but by far not the worse.

I'm thinking of selling my old set of rst voltage...
Is there a market for 1 year old leathers?
never been crashed in but needs tags on the sleeve zips and will need a new waist zip at some point..

mmmmm, for me no. you can pick up brand new for £230approx. i would much rather keep em. a spare bit of kit is always useful to have.
i did buy a spare rst 1-piece for £90 though a yr ago off tea bay but dont wear them much, a little outdated me thinks.
