Lol,

Wish I hadn't see that. The secretary at work bought me a bottle for helping her out with some building regs. Now I feel she was being cheap....lol.

Not really. It's a lovely drink.

In preparation for my cross border raid next week I've been spying out some targets.

This one isn't going to find its way into the shopping basket.

Ardbeg, my second favourite Islay! Yummm! (fav is Coal Ila BTW if you ever feel you need to give me a gift!) We were once sold a bottle of a 21yo Ardbeg from the Rare Malts series of bottlings for the tastings we used to run in York. Ye gods that was a stunning malt! Worth a bally fortune now!

And on the subject of Islay, has anyone noticed how Lagavulin has shot up in price?

Well, unless someone can come up with a damn good reason not to (in the next 30 seconds), I think I'll just pour myself a little glass of this rude boy to help see in the weekend.

Cheers folks!

Mate of mine from Newcastle parked his car outside my house when he went on holiday from Glasgow Airport and seemed to think that earned me a 1 litre bottle of 18 year old Glenlivet from Duty Free.

Nice chap, hope he goes again soon.
