I withdraw that thar last comment and promote Bells up the list------if you want a whiskey that is truly like paint stripper or drain cleaner try PENDERYN. I am sure it is made with sheep pish
Not a fan in the least of Welsh whiskey----seriously,I would rather go without.

We won't tell your AA meeting you said that

I'd stick Bells in Coke, but I wouldn't drink it straight regardless of availability. I'd just have a dry evening and go in the huff instead

Aye, well, we tried that once when we went to London for the weekend. It was the most harsh and nasty Whisky, Pete has ever put his mouth to. Its ghastly.......the pair of shudder when we see a bottle of it!!

I'm glad we ordered Jamiesons at the same time.....cause I swopped it with him after a sip of the nasty stuff.

Got to be Laphroaig.

And a couple of year's ago actually went to see them and collect my free dram in ground rent. This was from a great promotion they ran way back where if you sent them a bottle top back you got to "own" 1 square foot of Islay. Think they must of owed me some back rent cos I can't remember a lot about the rest of the day..

But that has gone to be really expensive now, at least in the UK. I saw a bottle at £50 the other day!

having consumed a bottle of Aberlour 10, Glenfiddish 12 and half a bottle of Glenfarclas 105 cask over the last two days I'm down to my last 7 bottles, just a shame I haven't really tasted any of it....
