what about this????

Glenbridge 40 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

£49. 99 70cl *

(£71.41 per litre)
Scottish Quality
Glenbridge has been carefully matured in European Oak Sherry casks for at least 40 years in one of Scotland's premier distilleries.

Intense Flavour
Open the cap to find a beautiful mahogany liquid with the aroma of dark chocolate and dried figs. Then taste the elegance. Vibrant fruit flavours with a spicy aromatic oak nuttiness fade into a lingering sweet and mellow finish. Bliss.

Limited Edition
Only 3000 of these exclusive limited edition gift sets will be available from Aldi. Perfect for connoisseurs, a whisky of this quality and age at this price offers truly exceptional value and would normally sell for many times this price.
In accordance with Scottish licensing laws, alcohol may not be sold in Aldi's Scottish stores before 10am.

Erm, what would you do with this? Push the cork in and decant it?

sieve it when you decant it?

Peg reckons he could get it out with another corkscrew.

OORRRRRR, send him the bottle and he'll dispose of it safely

Use a corkscrew to get the cork out, decant into a clean decanter or bottle that can be sealed to keep 'fresh', enjoy at your leisure

This is what my brother-in-law (English) served up at my sister's (Scottish) 50th birthday. Minimum age 3 years it says on the bottle. Well that's the legal definition of whisky taken care of I suppose...
