Re: Seat Cowl - to be or not to be!
Having issues and being slightly more tricky are pretty different things.
It's clearly not as easy to put a bike on a rear paddock stand without the grab rail as it is with the grab rail still fitted. That is unless you have never used the grabrail or have unusually sticky hands or are gheckos. Last edited by monkey; 15-10-10 at 10:32 AM. |

I guess I've never used the grab rail. It was gone long before I got a paddock stand.

He's got a point you know, put my grab rail back on a few weeks back to take the misses pillion and I'm yet to take it back off just because it makes chucking it around much easier. |

Check price with dealer - was quoted £93 last week. But watch eBay got one for £40.00 from Saltire Suzuki. Only problem is you usually don't get blanking panel and spacers when bought off EBay.

Re: Seat Cowl - to be or not to be!
I had a seat cowl, but took it off and refitted the seat as the grab handle is so useful for moving my bike (and a grab handle fitted with a cowl looks a bit silly!).
If the cowl had given any more space under the seat I might have been more inclined to keep it on, but on a pointy at least it makes virtually no difference. |
