Meal Preference for Xmas Get Together

Received an email today from the Farmers Arms. Basically as there`s so many people going they want us to preorder our main courses.


"Thanks again Claire.......in this case to ensure we can serve everyone together we would prefer to have the main courses pre booked if possible....you can find the choices on our website farmersarmskelsall.co.uk (this is a take away menu on the site but the choices are much the same) if not, have a look at the attached menu which we could serve on the day in a buffet style, basically help yourself to as much as you like......the choice is good or if you wish we can change a course or courses for you......it will flow much smoother than trying to cook fresh from 150 menu choices available ..... best regards Michael"


This is the buffet menu......

Christmas Party Menu - £12.50 per person

Starters:- Honey Spare Ribs
Mini Vegetable Spring Rolls (v)
Prawn on Toast with Sesame Seeds
Prawn Crackers

Main Course:- Salt & Pepper king Prawns
Fried Sliced Beef Steak with Oriental Sauce
Roast Pork Chinese Style
Sweet & Sour Chicken in Batter
Served With Fried Rice, Noodles, Bean Sprouts & Vegetables. (vegetarian main course available on request)

Dessert:- Mince Pies and Ice Cream or Banana Fritters in Syrup

Can I ask you all to vote on whether you want to go ahead with the £12.50 buffet or would you prefer to order individual meals. If the majority of people want the buffet then i think it`s easier to stick with that (would also make sorting the bill out easer!) However, if we decide on individual meals then you`re going to have to look at the menu and decide on what you want to eat but first off lets decide on xmas buffet or individual meals
