What film were you using? Was it fresh? I've shot a bit of expired film and it either comes up flat or colour shifted. Like you say, it could be weather if it's fresh film. The street scenes look cool, would love to try street photography but too chicken.

Look great, there is just a little flare so it could be the diffuse light dropping the contrast. I've had similar results in the same sorts of conditions. I presume you can work more with bitmaps than jpegs as there's more data there?

The film was Fujicolor asa200 and in date. That's partly what surprised me as the Fuji reds and greens are normally fairly bright.
I've never used bitmaps before Johnny. I'll see if I can play around with contrast and saturation when I get back.
I'll persist with the camera because I know what it's capable of. Will put the Ilford pan 400 in and try to shoot that over the weekend and get it processed here.

They're just uncompressed so you should get a truer rendition of the image. This is nice, just outside Hull:

Very nice, would love a Takumar /Super Takumar but have read they are radioactive. Not a massive dose, but still gives off some particles.

A few shots from the Voigtlander Bessa 6x9. I know you aren't a zone focus fan JR but you really should try one.

Looking good! I've finished the Contessamat, need to take some pics tomorrow and get stuff advertised. Middle element wouldn't budge on this one either but I could clean if from both sides in situ. If no one buys the Bessa then I've got a roll i could put in it.

Took one of the few OM2n cameras with me to Hendon, got through two and a half rolls. Had the 35-70 f4, found the short zoom range quite useful but could have done with a faster lens. Managed to pick up another XE1 off ebay, listed as working but with viewfinder issues. Nothing much wrong apart from some dirt, but it was enough to annoy the previous owner into selling.

Wow, I guess you had things to point it at! I'm not sure there are many zooms much faster than f4. The 70-200 Tamron zoom I had has sold, and the Bessa.
