Re: Other alternatives to the SV?
I have a new shape hornet.
I've had an SV sport. You wont be disappointed!! Brakes and Handling are very very good. Motor is still tight so not thrashing its nuts off yet. But it feels great. Very light and tax is cheaper. |

Re: Other alternatives to the SV?
Someone on here was selling a thundercat cheap.
Or as mentioned before, get a big trailie as they tend to stand up to a fair bit of abuse and are great for town and commuting. |

Re: Other alternatives to the SV?
big trailies are good if you need to haul people and stuff over long distances but smaller wheels and light weight are always fun. SV's are really great bikes so if you had one and you liked it just look for a new one.

Re: Other alternatives to the SV?
hindle the dorsoduro is comes into both fun on rough roads, will do the commute easily and so much fun on saturday/sunday morning to teach the weekend warriors a lesson in speed, but you cant afford that or the insurance.
if in doubt try falcon bikes they will insure you on anything, or so they used to claim |

Re: Other alternatives to the SV?
The thing is iv still got 8 months let on my current policy otherwise iv had half decent new quotes but seems a waste to end the policy and they probably wont give me my money back as i paid in full.

Re: Other alternatives to the SV?
nope they are just waiting for me to transfer the policy onto a new bike, anything that's more powerful or higher insurance group then the sv they just say the underwrites wont insurance me and they will have to do a brand new quote on a new policy.
