yes in England.....

one thing to note about Scottish bank notes is that they are guaranteed exchange for new notes/coinage no matter how old (to a degree). when the BOE withdraw notes you have a given time to exchange them after which they are worthless. yes yes Scottish notes are worthless anyway.

yes but not Scottish notes in a looot of places in England. we are supposed to be the same "kingdom" FFS.

try exchanging Scottish notes abroad... ermm nope, not going to happen.

I always thought it odd that initially, after the solstice, the increase in daylight is only in the evenings, ie sunset gets later but sunrise doesn't get earlier.

I know it's connected to the Earth's elliptical orbit but it still seems odd.
