With all these companies it's not going back into our economy, but vast US run giants.
POP (Point Of Purchase) tax. for every pound that goes out of someone's bank account to a retailer the Gov instantly and automatically take the tax as a "man in the middle".

i say do away with all the different "tax" like duty, vat, income tax etc.etc and create one single POP payment and set it at say 70%. that 70% is divided up into what needs to be paid like say 10% military, 30% NHS etc.etc and is 1% variable but all ringfenced. the Gov would not have to wait on its money, people would not need to do vat/tax returns etc.etc.

The big advantage is that a lot of currently un-taxed money would be taxed (criminals also use Amazom) but the opposite would also be true, legitimate businesses would soon be taking and paying in cash to avoid your POP.

you could add POP at the till as well. impose huge heavy fines for those caught trying to fiddle the system.

the quicker they do away with hard cash the better. in this day and age there is no need for it unless your a shady git or drug dealer.

Cash transfers are cheaper. Every card or electronic transfer attracts fees. For a small business around 3.5% that's 35p on a £10 transaction, PayPal Here is 3.4% + 20p, on a fiver that's 37p or 7.4%, bloody hell there's businesses that don't pay that much in total tax. Folk like barbers etc really don't need to be paying that. Also do you really trust the money processors not to flog your data, I don't.

problem is the banks want emoney but force the retailers to buy the equipment and pay a rental and fee.. this should all stop. if the banks want emoney then they should foot the bill.. simples.. this is where the Gov should step in.. but surprise surprise they could not give a shizz.

anyway.. chrimbo is a week away, i have beer, i is pizzed off so its me and beer time

A lady I gave first aid to last week after she fell and broke her hip at the carol concert just died. I accompanied her to hospital in the ambulance. Feel very sad.
