OMO. 52 nice things to do for your wife

I'm normally as romantic as a punch in the nads, but at the end of last year I resolved to make the effort to do something nice for my wife at some point each week to show my general appreciation. Not that I'm a total git the rest of the time you understand. This is over and above my usual outstanding husbanding.

I've put in a bit of advance work for this years efforts, with a to-do list to work through. These range from free to inexpensive and include the silly, the naughty and the vomit-inducing soppy.

I have a problem though. My to-do list is up to about mid-May and I'm getting thin on ideas now. I can probably stretch it to June with multiple repetitions of "buy flowers", but I need more ideas.

So come on you old romantics, give me some inspiration.

Or take the ****. One's as good as the other for the purposes of this thread.

Bit pricey but a cheapo spar day or half day would always work.

A drive to some nice surroundings with a picnic of really good food (marks and spencer good for this), nice walk, flask of hot chocolate or something, I'd even think you was lovely if you done this for me

Run her a warm bath, candlelight and a glass of wine.

Massage her feet.

Do the grocery shopping for her.

Cook her a meal.

Fetch her an aspirin when she says she has a headache.

Let her eat after eights in the afternoon.

Do the ironing.

Tell her her bum never looks big.

Does she drive? Buy her a tank/bus/hgv driving experience.

Put a few extra links in the restraining chain, she can dust/wash/clean a new area then......

Seriously tho...lunch out is always a nice thing, doesn't have to be an expensive place, just not well known burger and chicken joints. Tescos vouchers can help in this area...we're off to Prezzos next week assisted by Tescos...

Your setting high standards here for the rest of us.
Find something different each week to watch "together" and get cuddled up.
Take her to a different pub lunch each week.
Proper coffee / breakfast in bed at the weekend.
A child free day (good for you and the kids as well.

If your doing these four regularly already then she's a lucky lady.

- treasure hunt
- make a surprise backdrop for her laptop / tablet / phone
- special photo with pets/kids
- bake her a cake
- make her something out of clay or something. It'll look **** but be funny
- bath and massage
- rent a ****e romcom and watch it with her and stay awake
- some **** with candles. Women like candles
- penis enlargement
- clean something you wouldnt normally clean (not your nob, i mean bathroom, kitchen etc)
- surprise takeaway or meal out if the budget stretches
- tv off night, with board games, cards, jenga, whatever and conversation
- do that thing to her she likes but you cant normally be arsed to do
