Bath Road Motorcycles, Bristol
Hey all, am I in the right area to ask this question? Any of you had any dealings with this place?
They've got a bike on they're website I'm interested in but it's a long way to trek for a test ride. Trouble is the next nearest dealer to have one is Scotland!

Re: Bath Road Motorcycles, Bristol
I actually thought they had closed.
They used to be a BMW main dealer up until recently (D!ck Lovett now has it for the area). I was told that the owner was retiring or selling up hence the end of the franchise, but obviously I'm wrong provided its the same people as before. If its the same lot as who had the BMW franchise then while I never used them personally I know others who have and have been very happy with the service. Can't really add any more than that. What bike you interested in?

An F650gs. But one has just come up in Norwich so I may take a look there first as I can jump on the train to see it.

Re: Bath Road Motorcycles, Bristol
We popped in there late last year, very clean show room, some nice bikes in there, but they decided to take on the new AJS Range, basically Chinese rubbish with an old British name! Such a shame, I expect that they will be dealing with a lot of returns on those!
Seems like a nice place and the staff were helpful and friendly. Don't buy a new AJS though! If you are heading over this way, come over on Thursday and visit Weston Bike Night too! You will love it and we will even let you have a cuddle with either Steve our boss or the Owl! Hugs |

Re: Bath Road Motorcycles, Bristol
I've found one a bit closer, well Norwich. So may look at that first. I really ought to come down to Bristol this summer, got 3 mates in the Gloucestershire cricket team I keep promising to visit.

A work colleague is intending to sell his F650GS. We work in Bristol (although he lives a bit further on down the M5) so if the Norwich one isn't any good you could view two on a trip to the west country.
Let me know if you're interested and I'll get some details to you. |

It'd need to be the factory low suspension model so she can stand a chance of touching the floor

S0d off Christopher. I'm not that much of a midget but I would prefer the lowered one as after the op on my achilles last year paddling any bike is painful especially on tiptoe.
