Anyone fell through a ceiling today?

I did, and felt like a right plonker!!

Luckily not all the way through, just my right leg. Had the floorboards up and put one back down but it wasn't sitting on the beam properly. Put all my weight on it (a hefty load) and crashing through i go. The tenant was out so i managed to get some plasterboard and repair it ready for paint. Doh, had to happen at some point though. The kid i work with had a good laugh, ..

I did that when I was about ten..when kid played on building sites for fun.
Went in loft like the tom boy i was, sat down and came crashing down to the floor below!..kids would get arrested these days for it
Pretty much ended the gymnastic career(not that I was going to be a superstar or owt) cracked ribs and 6 months of no gym

Didn't fall through a ceiling today, did get stuck in some wet concrete though. We were leveling out a 15 inch base and the only way to do most of it was standing inside it, I was the one chosen. Had to be lifted out of the concrete by two men, and my wellies didn't come with me

Ouch, i only hit my man bits on the beam so i got off lightly

I did something similar a few years ago. Whilst repairing a leaky flat roof my foot slipped off one of the roof joists and I went through the roof with a leg either side of the joist, ohh god I can still remember the pain!!! While the boss ranted the home owner was on the floor in stitches.

I fell through one in a place called Ombilin in Sumatra. I was installing the network cable and as I climbed into the loft space I asked the site administrator if there where any snakes up there. He replied no. but once I was about 30 yards in he said that there where some f*cking big nasty spiders though.

Typical temp office built by natives, they nailed joists together. so when I stood on the joined joist it collapsed dropping me 20ft. Knackered back and a 100 mile ambulance ride to get checked out.
