Bolt help - SV650.org

Hi All,

Need to replace one of the hex bolts that hold on the little black plastic cover you take off to get to the seat bolt(s) on my K9 as the little **** has rounded.

Anyone got any idea what kind of bolt it is?!

Also, on one side of the seat the metal washer-type thing has come out of the plastic housing rendering the seat bolt on that side useless, so if anyone knows where I could get a spare one of them too that'd be grand!

Bolt is a Shouldered button head from memory, and you can buy that and the washer you are missing from your local dealer, or someone like Robinsons foundry or Fowlers Parts.

Thank you. I don't suppose you happen to know the size of the bolt? Looked on both the websites you suggested but couldn't seem to find what I needed so think a trip to eBay will be in order!

Part no: 09139-06107 M6 x 16 shouldered. And it needs to be shouldered so that you don't crack the plastic panel when tightened.

You should be able to find your washer on these exploded diagrams :
